Roof rats can be brown or black in color or even mixed. They often have a gray, white, or black underside. They are long and thin with a scaly tail, smooth fur, large ears and large eyes. The body of a roof rat is smaller and sleeker than that of its cousin, the Norway rat.
Common places to find bug
Roof rats live in colonies and prefer to nest in the upper parts of buildings. They can be found under, in and around structures.
