Dear American Pest Control Families,

As our community continues to feel the impact of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we wanted to share with you additional actions we are taking to ensure everyone’s safety. As we continue to provide our essential services to protect your family and home safely, we are also focusing on the welfare and safety of our employees, our customers, and our community. As the days and weeks progress, we will continue to take this matter very seriously.

In response to this unprecedented health threat, we have increased communication with our employees and management so everyone is up to date on the most current local, state, and federal agencies for information. In addition, we have taken a number of safety measures, including obvious policies such as encouraging employees to stay at home if they are sick, increasing office cleaning schedules, promoting awareness of personal hygiene etiquette, and limiting interaction with people and surfaces.

Additionally, the new protocols among our industry:

• If you are scheduled for an interior service, we will ask if anyone in your residence is ill with viral symptoms or quarantined. If so, we will only perform exterior services. WE WILL NOT ENTER YOUR HOME.
• In most cases, our services can be performed outside your home without entry or human contact. If entry to your home is required or requested, it can be done with limited human contact.
• When servicing indoors, we will always utilize applicable personal protective equipment such as: a respirator, goggles, shoe covers and rubber disposable gloves.
• Existing health precautions such as regular hand washing and human distancing recommendations will continue to be followed.

Our thoughts go out to all who have been affected during this unprecedented event. We truly appreciate the first responders, government officials, and all our health care professionals who are working tirelessly in their communities. We consider it a great honor to have the opportunity to help protect your family and property.
